Who are we?
NeevJivan
& Sisters Private Ltd. was founded to bridge the gap between rural women entrepreneurs and customers across India.
By creating reliable market access for products made by women entrepreneurs supported by NeevJivan Foundation, the company transforms rural enterprises into sustainable businesses, helps increase their incomes, and achieve long-term financial
independence through the power of entrepreneurship.
What do we do?
Market access is often the deciding factor between the success and failure of a rural enterprise. Many women entrepreneurs create high-quality products but struggle to reach customers beyond their villages or talukas.
NeevJivan & Sisters Private Ltd. bridges this critical gap by strengthening their sales capabilities through training in customer engagement and digital marketing,
while creating sustainable market linkages through e-commerce, retail partnerships, exhibitions, and physical distribution networks.
By transforming products into consistent sales, we help women build profitable, self-reliant enterprises that thrive over the long term.
Why?
Agriculture is the lifeline of tribal families in the rural regions of Palghar and Nashik. However, chronic water scarcity limits cultivation to a single crop cycle each year, leaving many households to survive on an average monthly income of just ₹5,000.
With no other reliable source of income for the rest of the year, migration to cities becomes a necessity rather than a choice. NeevJivan Foundation is working to break this cycle by helping women establish sustainable micro-enterprises within their villages; creating year-round livelihoods, strengthening household incomes, and enabling families to remain together with dignity, hope, and economic security.
At NeevJivan & Sisters Private Ltd., we are changing this reality by helping women establish sustainable micro-enterprises that generate year-round income, strengthen rural economies, and give families the opportunity to build a dignified future in their own villages.
How?
Over the years, NeevJivan Foundation has developed a comprehensive five-pronged enterprise incubation model that empowers tribal women to turn their skills into sustainable, income-generating micro-enterprises.
Going beyond vocational training, we support women through the entire journey from learning to earning through:
- Technical Training: Market-driven vocational training across 20+ trades, delivered with expert knowledge partners.
- Entrepreneurship Skills: Building essential business skills and an entrepreneurial mindset to confidently run and grow an enterprise.
- Seed Capital: Facilitating access to funding through government schemes, CSR partnerships, crowdfunding, and other sources.
- Enterprise Setup: Supporting machinery and raw material procurement, shop-floor setup, branding, packaging, and other essential infrastructure.
- 12-Month Handholding: Providing ongoing mentorship, operational guidance, and market linkages to help enterprises achieve stability and long-term sustainability.
This end-to-end approach improves the success and sustainability of the enterprises we nurture; enabling women to build lasting livelihoods, achieve financial independence, and drive economic transformation within their communities.
Where?
Today, our work extends across 100+ villages in Palghar and Nashik districts in Maharashtra. Through our five-pronged operating model, we are empowering women to build sustainable micro-enterprises, strengthen rural economies and create lasting opportunities within their own villages, thereby making migration a choice rather than a necessity.
Today!!
Today, over 1,700 tribal women and youth are successfully managing 176 micro-businesses across rural Maharashtra. These enterprises are creating far more than livelihoods; they are fostering financial independence, empowering families, reducing the need for migration, and inspiring a new generation of confident rural entrepreneurs who are transforming their communities from within.
